What Is Horse Therapy?

 History & development of horse therapy dates back centuries, it wasn’t until late 1900’s, however that modern psychologist started using existing principles of therapeutic riding developed to treat polio & other health issues, for treatment of mental health concerns. There are 2(two) kinds of horse therapy (A) Hippo therapy – focus more on occupational, speech and physical therapy. (B) Therapeutic Riding – geared towards individuals with conditions such as cerebral palsy or down syndrome, which calls for greater support while riding the purpose of better back and structural health.
